A Skype Christmas.

Christmas celebrations started early this year. Thanks to Skype, I was able to open gifts with my family this afternoon despite the fact that we are 3,700 miles apart. The festivities brought a mixture of emotions and blurry images, due to a combination of more tears than usual and a poor internet connection. I loved every second and am especially thankful for technology this Christmas. Here are some of my favorite screenshots.

No, it’s not really snowing, it just helps me feel a little cooler in 80 degree weather.

Rascal got a new shirt.

After three years of exchanging, the pine cone returns to my dad from Hawaii.

  1. I am so thankful for the technology to have all of us “together”. But, oh what I would have given to have a good Brittany hug from you. Miss you sister and love you more than you know.

  2. Britters, I love this! I’m so thankful that technology was able to give you a little piece of home. God is good to provide you with that sweet little gift. Praying for you and miss you dear friend!

  3. You are our techno-queen. How did you do that? and so fast!

We thoroughly enjoyed the time together, even if so far apart. Would love to have been able to reach through the screen and give you a big hug.

We appreciate your thoughtfulness and all the cool, creative gifts.
    Love you!

  4. SO FUN! I’m glad you and the fam got to spend Christmas together 🙂 God is good for giving mankind genius to create Skype – I love it! Soooo…when is it my turn again?

  5. This was such a fun time…but it made me miss you like the desert misses the rain! Spread lots of the Good News in Malaysia, and then, for the love of all that is good, hurry your little self home! 🙂
